This past Wednesday was the second Wednesday of the month: our day to sing at Council on Aging and Grace Nursing Home. As always, we had a blessed time sharing songs and visiting with the people.
As we visited with the elderly at the nursing home, they expressed their gratitude for us coming out again. It makes it very special to realize that we are a glimmer of light to these people who spend their life confined in the nursing home.
Recently, we have had to make some adjustments with our singing as different family members have been unavailable during singing appointments. Last month, Daniel was unable to come with us to Council on Aging and Grace, and this month Christopher was unable to come. What do we do in situations like this? God has taught us that He can work through adjustments in our group! This month, we had our bass-in-training, Samuel, fill in for Christopher’s part as well as instruments. God has always helped us work through temporary singing adjustments. It has been a challenge, but it has been good for our family.

“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.”
